Catalyst 10.8 and Aliens vs. Predator

Using the just released Catalyst 10.8 WHQL driver plus Catalyst Application Profile, we have tested real-world performance in Aliens vs. Predator at 2560x1600 4XAA/16XAF with Radeon HD 5870 2GB CrossFireX in comparison to previous Catalyst 10.7a driver and profile. Our results indicate that performance is identical to the previous driver in this game.

Catalyst 10.7a and profile = (min/max/avg FPS) 16/53/32.3.

Catalyst 10.8 and profile = (min/max/avg FPS) 16/52/31.3.
